the community to address challenges facing Aurora. The theme of the campaign is ONE AURORA...uniting all residents with a common bond of good jobs, quality of life, safe streets, security, protecting our seniors and children, creating opportunities and innovations.

"We must utilize the strengths of our diverse residents and their talents to raise Aurora's quality of life to its potential, creating an environment of optimism and progress for the long-term future" Irvin said.

He added "Aurora is the 2nd largest city in the State of Illinois, spread over 4 counties. I want to encourage a dialogue with people from all parts of the city to feel connected to their government and to each other."

"Our campaign will listen to the people, meet the challenges and raise the election process itself creating energy, interest and excitement to an unprecedented new level in the history of Aurora" pledged Irvin.
